C21 CANADA TO CELEBRATE CANADA150 WITH INNOVATION SUMMIT IN HISTORICAL CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI

The C21 CEO Academy to present a Pan-Canadian Perspective on Learning and Technology Innovation to the Council of Ministers of Education

Charlottetown, PEI, Wednesday, July 19, 2017 —  C21 Canada’s membership is composed of a unique blend of senior leaders from education, not for profits and the technology sector, will be descending upon PEI Wednesday, July 19th to reflect, celebrate and envision the next phase of innovation in Canadian education. “I extend a warm Island welcome to our C21 partners as they gather here this week to discuss innovation in education,” said Education, Early Learning and Culture Minister Doug Currie. “With full stakeholder engagement, we have greater capacity to ensure our students are gaining 21st Century competencies and that Canada remains a world leader in education.”

The C21 Canada Board members will join the CEO Academy for its 2nd bi-annual face-to-face meeting. The CEO Academy addresses the spread and scale of Global Competencies by focusing its professional learning inquiry on Shifting System drivers. In addition to celebrating Canada’s 150th through Learning and Technology Innovation, our Lead Learner focus will be on Community Engagement. “I’m extremely honoured and excited to be a part of this historical gathering of the foremost innovative leaders in education across Canada. We have an opportunity to make history in helping shape the future of education,” says Robert Martellacci, Co-founder & President, C21 Canada.

The CEO Academy is honoured to present a Pan-Canadian Perspective on Learning and Technology Innovation to the Council of Ministers of Education on July 20th.  C21 Canada Board members and VIP Guests are invited to attend the presentation and participate in a roundtable to follow. “CMEC greatly values the national insights on learning and technology trends that will be shared by the C21 CEO Academy at our summer meetings. Their contribution is vital to moving the Canadian Learning and Innovation agenda forward,” says Chantal Beaulieu, Executive Director/Directrice générale CMEC.
